The GCTG was created recently in response to a need to improve transport options within Glenfarg and surrounding areas. Our aim is to encourage the use of alternative modes of travel to cars.
We are a not-for-profit group based on the government’s two-tier model for SCIO's (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations) SC052068. Membership is open to residents and organisations with a Glenfarg connection.
GCTG operates the 55 Bus Service between Glenfarg and Kinross (11 journeys each day in both directions) and the Arngask Primary School service on behalf of Perth and Kinross Council. We also operate a Community Bus which provides outings and social activities for the residents of the village. GCTG promotes Active Travel options including walking and wheeling.
GCTG has a dedicated website. Please visit www.GlenfargCT.co.uk for further details.
