The community councillors are elected to -
- ascertain and reflect the views of the community that it represents
- express the views of the community to the local authority
- take such action in the interests of the community as appears desirable and practical
- promote the well-being of the community and foster community spirit
- be a means whereby the people of the area can voice their opinions on any matter affecting their lives, their welfare, their environment, its development and amenity

What can you do to be more involved with the well-being of the community?
- Be aware of what is being discussed by checking the website, CC notice board (in Ladeside), shop window and newsletter for Agenda and Minutes of meetings plus other information
- If you have concerns, contact any community councillor or email secretary@glenfarg.org
- OR report relevant issues yourself to Perth & Kinross Council – the Council Links tab above may help you to find the necessary contact
- Come to the Community Council meetings in the Village Hall and join the discussion
